Stay Good Feeding Community Program

In participation with the World Food Day last month, Banyan Tree Vabbinfaru, Angsana Ihuru and Angsana Velavaru Maldives organized a Stay Good Feeding Community program.

Banyan Tree Vabbinfaru and Angsana Ihuru did a joint feeding communities event where they visited the local island of Huraa which is 25 minutes by speedboat. 500 boxes of packed food were taken and distributed door to door. Everyone had a great time and unique experience with the local islanders.

Angsana Velavaru  have selected the island of Maaemboodhoo to represent the event where associates and guests were invited to join and distribute 500 takeaway box of local festive dish bondi bai (rice pudding) and Kulhi mas (roasted fish) and create a memorable experience for all involved. Everyone left  Velavaru with the food at 14:30 and we ended our initiative as soon as we distributed the food boxes. This event was coordinated with the local island council and the health centre on the island.
